1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lucid Habits ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Lucid Habits is a habit tracking and personal development application that helps you:

Track daily habits and routines
Monitor sleep patterns
Receive AI-powered coaching and motivation
View statistics and progress reports
Track clean streaks for various goals

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account using Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Lucid Habits offers premium features through subscription plans ("Lucid Pro"):

Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings
Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Apple according to their refund policies

Prices are subject to change. We will notify you of any price changes in advance.

5. Free Trial

We may offer free trial periods for premium features. After the trial ends, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial expires. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Share your account credentials with others
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Lucid Habits and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in the App (habits, notes, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely for providing the service to you.

9. Health Disclaimer

Important: Lucid Habits is designed for general wellness and habit tracking purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your health routines, sleep patterns, or lifestyle habits.

10. AI Coach Disclaimer

The AI Coach feature provides general motivational content and suggestions. It is not a substitute for professional advice from doctors, therapists, or other qualified professionals. Use AI-generated content at your own discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucid Habits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

12. Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
